Having always had a variety of pets, mainly dogs, often rescues, Lily now owns two gorgeous labradors, Walter & Eccles. Walter is a delightful chocolate lab, Eccles is his younger brother and a big handsome black lab.

We had visions of them being in the shop every day, snuggled up on cosy beds open to the odd hug or biscuit, but in reality, despite our best to stop them they thieve as much food as possible, they have been known to eat a whole 2kg bag of Beco Chicken and nearly 1.5kg of Guinea Pig food. We do like a challenge...!

However, they do seem bullet proof and they do come in when we have the strength to battle to get them past the treats without stealing - we love them to bits though and they are the sweetest boys but food is their no. 1 priority and we have to constantly keep an eye on them! Eccles has had a myriad of health problems and we have a vast first hand experience of managing these problems through specialist vet care, medication, diet and various treatments and therapies. We have also learned a great deal from our customers and various professionals and we are also currently studying for the highest qualification in Canine Nutrition in the UK today.

We understand animals and we understand how they are part of your family and you want to do the very best for them.

We have a lot of experience and knowledge. We are also closely linked to local vets, nutritionists, therapists and manufacturers and if there is an issue we can't help with we usually know someone who can.
